JF Polo Academy

J F Polo Academy is the leading polo school in the UK, with purpose built facilities and a pay-as-you-go system that no other facility can offer in the North West.

This system allows them to offer chukkas to people with their own polo ponies or those who require pony hire. They specialise in private / group polo lessons, experience days, beach rides, gallop experiences, exhibition matches, luxury holidays with J F Polo Holidays, events and venue hire.

They aim to open their gates to everybody who wants to experience polo, whether that is from on top of a horse or from the sidelines with a glass of fizz.

Events

In 2018, the academy hit new highs as they partnered with Cheeky Chilli events and launched a number of events including the Start of Season Party, Tipi Party, Gentlemen's Evening, Polo Fest and an End of Season Ball.

The venue is also proving popular for events such as weddings, white collar boxing and other celebrations as a hired venue.

Chukkas

Throughout the polo season, every Wednesday and Friday, James and Claire open their gates to spectators and players of all levels to take part in fun and friendly chukkas, normally ending with a BBQ and drinks.

They state that it is all about making people feel welcome within the polo community, no commitment and no expenses like polo clubs require.
